The 2007 New York State Fair Competition - June 15-16, 2007

The Salt City Brew Club is the host club for the New York State Fair Home Brew Competition. We provide judges, and stewards for this New York State competition. Home brewers from all over New York compete in this state wide event. All BJCP beer styles for home brew competition are judged. The rules and information for the 2007 New York State Fair Home Brew Competition are posted below:

1. Open to any amateur homebrewer, 21 years old or older, who is a resident of New York State
2. Beers must be received at either the drop-off points or the state fair no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2007.
3. Entry fee and forms must be received by State Fair on or before June 4, 2007.
4. Judging dates are Friday June 15th and Saturday, June 16th, 2007.
5. Fees are $6 per entry. Please make your check payable to "NYS Fair"
6. Entry consists of 2 bottles of the same beer, 12 oz. or larger with the proper label attached. Carbonators, swing-top bottles, etc. will be allowed.
7. Entries become the property of the NYS Fair
8. Entries should be made in compliance with the current BJCP guidelines
9. Checks must be made payable to "NYS Fair" and mail to:
